Hannah Davis discusses Derek Jeter, island life in latest issue of GQ
It's been a hell of a year for Hannah Davis. The 25-year-old was chosen as the cover model for the 2015 SI Swimsuit Issue, became co-host of Project Runway Junior (alongside Tim Gunn) and got engaged to longtime boyfriend Derek Jeter. And then there were all those DirecTV ads.
It's hard to blame Hannah if she just wants to spend some quality time at home in St. Thomas. In the latest issue of GQ, Hannah discussed her home and life on the island. “It feels like a Fourth of July barbecue every day there, Davis said. It's that laid-back mentality I miss most, people there just not quite moving as fast as the rest of the world.”
Hannah also discussed her reason for getting into modeling: “Started modeling to buy tennis rackets. And it kiiinda grew from there." As you may have known, Hannah was a top junior tennis player growing up and even showed off her skills a couple years ago against a SI writer.
